On board your luxury coach, you'll travel through the scenic countryside and see the rolling vineyards of Burgundy, one of the oldest wine regions in France. Visit a local wine cellar for a sample of one of the world's best white wines and tour the UNESCO World Heritage listed Basilica of St Mary Magdalene in Vézelay. The first stop on your Burgundy day trip is a local wine cellar in the village of Chablis, famous for its Chardonnay. Sample a glass of this exquisite white wine and learn about this wine-growing area, where viticulture dates back to the Roman times. Throughout the day, you’ll learn about Burgundy’s history and viticulture traditions from your local guide.
